New lv1 crafting gear is female only!?

In other words, this franchise is know for being very open about men's fashion and if you keep playing these games you may feel uncomfortable, I may suggest a more "manly" MMO, like The Elder Scrolls Online.

You could not wear the gear they set for those character that is why they are called Non playable characters you don't get their gear and I ain't leaving the game cause I don't agree with your fashion style and SE isn't gonna give you what you want.

I even knew you would bring up the bunny suit lets see a couple of years I believe begging for the costume then flip around and say oh SE made bunny suit which I might add that looks horrible, that it can be ported over because they added it to the game which I betcha anything most will only use the ears.

I could say the same for you as well, if you don't like that they don't put female gear on the game for guys move along, though you'll continue to say its not fair well guess what?

I've seen lots of people use and love a lot more than the ears of the bunny suit, not everyone wants to put all male characters in an armored burqa. After all, a lot of women and non straight guys play the game too, as hard as that seems to be for some players to grasp.

What? In 4.1 guys and girls got EXACTLY the same amount of glamour pieces from uznair, one chestpiece for guys, one chestpiece for girls, and one unisex chestpiece that had a unique look for M and F. You're making stuff up now.

He probably means other patches. The one with the bunny suits are good examples, also the Spring set.

We should probably consider the first Summer event too, as males got only two color variants while females got a way more variety.

I don't know how you'd consider the first summer event as there was and is an equal amount of swimsuits from that event.

She means that a head-to-ankle dress is a full outfit compared to just a shirt. Even though yes they are technically equally 1 item, the dress can count as "chest and leg". While shirt is just "chest".

I don't think it's really fair to nitpick on that though... That's just how long dresses are. Now the real offender is the Witch attire. The guys got screwed over big time.

Whelp, for now it seems like yet another 2 steps back after 1 step forward. Not entirely surprised. Gonna quote somebody from a similar thread/discussion because I honestly believe this is likely the reason why female characters keep getting exclusives:

I know a certain male NPC's outfit is coming (to the Mogstation) but that really doesn't quite set things right; the Mogstation NPC outfits just maintains a tug-of-war between the ratio at best.



I'm fine with gender-locked outfits, but not when it's pretty-much always skewed in favor of female characters. I'll believe them giving more male-only outfits (unisex, "1-for-each" doesn't count) next patch when I see it.

Yeah, I even said in the post Kradus was responding to that it wouldn't be an issue if there weren't the underlying issue of male characters getting constantly shafted in the glamour department. The Witch attire is certainly a worse offender (especially since despite being a reused model, it's a unique color and can't quite be matched by dying!), but that doesn't negate the fact that they just couldn't be bothered this time (even if the result would have been yet another samey pair of slacks).

Well, considering the same source that confirmed the male NPC's gear also confirmed that the next glamour is TWO sets, one a dress (which will doubtless be female-only, even for the hat and gloves) and one a suit (which may or may not be male only), it looks unlikely that anything is changing. Best case scenario is both are gender-locked and the ratio stays exactly the same, worst case male characters get +1 outfit while female characters get +2.

They should just make all glamours unisex. Christ... if males want to wear a freaking dress, let them. If females want to be Papalymo, let them. What someone else wears shouldn't matter to anyone besides them.

Pulling the *woman and non straight* card. Didnt know you speak for all non straight and female. Most people just dont care you know and wont even visited the forums with al these *topics*. They just use what the game offers them and make it the best they can and it has nothing to do with being female or non straight. They just wanna have fun and play.

Maybe it isn't a priority for you, but dressing up your character is a major part of the fun for many people. There's a reason the reward for just about everything is new clothes.

If they unlocked every currently locked item we'd certainly have a lot less to complain about.
