Making 300 pieces of unique items isn't feasible. If you want something that cool you'd have to ask for like, a reward every 10, 50, 100 achivements.

If they're going to make aesthetic gear rewards and/or other items for achievements, all I ask for is an NPC that will store them when I don't want to use them, much like the event item NPC in FFXI.

What is wrong with cosmetic gear? I see nothing wrong with gear that "looks" cool, that you can wear around town and what not. It's pretty much just like completing one of the special events. You will also get a title.

I only hope that any rewards tied to achievements are based on individual or at least grouped achievements and not cumulative "completion".

I do not want to spend days doing every stupid, pointless level 10 quest I have no interest or need to do in order to get some piece of gear. Or stacking leves for an evaluation to max my gil reward, or engaging in any number of inane activities just so I an unlock that "achievement".

Yes, because if it is a relevant piece of gear (@ endgame) I will be forced to collect it because I care about playing my role right and my obligations to my teammates.

If you're playing your role right, you don't need gear. See: people beating Ifrit in Santa suits. That's arguably the hardest fight in the game, and it doesn't require any gear at all. You may think you need a piece of gear to do your job efficiently, but you really don't.
