I'd be all for guys also being able to wear the various tanga swimwears if it meant females got access to the swim trunks as well.

sorry but those suits do not look very well on guys, I'll pass.
I am sure some guys will just wear the ears but seriously that doesn't look good lol

Not true. I completely support male characters getting to wear dresses and more traditionally feminine clothes but you can't say that female characters get to wear everything. Trust me, we can't.
Even when we have the same outfits many end up being changed to be, at best, more traditionally feminine or, at worst, like "sexy <whatever>" Halloween costumes. For example there are few coat options within female glamour (lv.1) gear that aren't open at the front.
This is a good thing, male characters should be able to wear what females can, but please don't claim female characters have some advantage. Between restrictions and appearance differences female characters lack options male characters have.
There are two separate issues here, one being that outfits designed for females end up being needlessly sexy (hi AF1 DRG's belly window), and the other being the difference in sheer amount of glamours available to female charas vs. male charas, and how often male charas' options tend to be the exact same thing (Generic Pants™ #7223) or changed into something so banal and tasteless compared to the female option like the Spring Bottoms. This particular issue is very lively in this section of the forums and is rather painful for many of us.
As for the coats you complained about, most of those look pretty much the same on a guy minus the need for a bra, and both sets adhere to the same aesthetic, so that's not an example I'd use much to showcase this.
you know what never mind lol

Not... Really? I've looked at the coats and the cut, style, design, details and decorations vary quite a bit. Even when they're similar they dye differently. When making outfits each has its place. Even if male coats are similar those styles don't really exist at all for female characters or are so limited that (as mentioned above) fine details stop them from working with many outfits. Revealing the chest and shoulders changes a look and many coat-styled female options have a skirt attached. And Spring Bottoms? Unremarkable pleated shorts aren't banal?
This may be a "grass is greener" situation for both of us but my point is just that: it applies to both of us. I don't care who "has it worse" I care that the imbalance exists for both.

I can't wait for the parody videos when this comes out (I especially look forward to Denmo's Mr Face in stockings)

Thavnarian sets (2 female vs 1 male)
Spring sets (2 female vs 1 male)
Gold saucer fashion game sets (female unique shorts vs. male reskin pants)
Valentiones gear (female unique vs. male recolor)
Halloween gear (female unique vs. male recolor)
Prior to 4.3 the gold saucer sets were 3 female vs 1 male
Casting gear that are quite literally dresses
Its one thing to be upset you can’t wear the butler set, but pretending that both imbalances are on equal footing is silly.
Honorary mention to the Halloween set where the top on ladies is a dress that covers to mid thigh but for guys it's a jacket that exposes the underwear and no matching even piece to make them decent

We kinda got that again with the Hannish dress vs. Hannish top. Guess guys really enjoy the autumn breeze in Thavnair lol
