I'm for more account-wide stuff even if at maximum it's 1st edition/fanfest stream stuff (and mounts). I'd love it to be more but if the maximum has to be reached, let it be for essential stuff like that.

I think their reasoning on making mounts account-wide was the high $24 price tag. But honestly, that's only $6 off from the Eastern gears. It's just one more reason they need to re-work the system.

I agree to this as well. IIRC, wasn't one of the mounts per character?

(At least partial) solution to item clutter: instead of sending gear sets with all 5 or so items, they can send out gear coffers like what you get from Job quests, or the end of HW's MSQ in preparation for SB. That will make it comparable to the amount of items sent out for mounts which'll take away their argument against this, and lower system pressure besides.

This game allows a player to have alternate classes on the same character so why have this account wide? From a business perspective SE won’t do this as it’s a great way to make money. If you make an alternate character, then you should pay for another item. Also people with alts can potentially eat up space on servers that others may want to be on so if you are depriving someone of this, SE will make you pay. You have different characters! Why should you share between? Fork out the money honey

+1......................
Are they making more money this way? How many people actually buy outfits per single character on their account, especially with prices being what they are? And how many people are they missing out on that would've bought things if they were account wide, but don't because it's per-character? Until we get the answers to these questions, we can't say for sure they're not actually "losing" money.
Thing is, even if they are making less money than they could've been, they're hiding behind technical limitation arguments like they did when they moved physical items' bonus codes to being single character - and then proceed to release more account wide mounts...

Bump, remember to click like on this if you agree!
