Didn't we all establish already that Ifrit was an easy fight once you get down to it.

It's really only difficult because of the casting lag. If there wasn't that issue it would be cakewalk after a couple runs. With the lag which is always changing if you outside of Japan. 2 to 4 second delay on everything unless you good at timing...he hee...

KUDOS with the spirit of the season. Always, nice to see people enjoying the game and finding ways to enjoy the game as an MMO rather then bashing it all day long.

I know its a lil early but tonight me and a few linkshell mates decided to get into the christmas spirit by fighting ifrit in our santa suits. And before anyone asks yes the tank was also in the santa suit.

We actually won



This begs the question is gear and stats really working???

They could have dressed after the fight and say they did it like that, think about it.....

I've been wondering if gear was broken as well. We killed Ifrit last night wearing only swimsuits and it was a blast. The sad thing was I didn't notice any difference either. Only less HP/MP. Glad I found this post. Guess if its just fire dmg, it would make sence. But even my DMG output was the same. Kinda made me sad that all my str and attk, ect... didn't seem to matter.

Thats what we saw as well, at first we had 3 of us in the santa outfits, and one of those 3 was still out parsing the people wearing normal gear.
