I was tanking Kugane Castle and the healer got absolutely furious with me over countdowns. Like seriously irate over it. All I did was start a 5 second countdown at every boss so everyone knew when I'd pull and this healer started insulting me and threatening to not heal me over it.

Did I do something wrong? I'm so confused.

EDIT : albeit, they shouldn't be long either. I think 15 tops is reasonable

You did nothing wrong, that healer was just...different(trying to be nice about it...). If someone gets irate over a 5second countdown before each boss, that's a problem with them, and not you(if it was 30seconds before each boss, then I could - somewhat - understand their position, but 5 seconds is nothing(heck, I would use the time to take a drink).

Playing on a JP server, I only ever get comms when I mess up. Why? No idea.
Otherwise I'm pretty sure no one gets them because they always leave so fast, hah.

I get comms on BLM when I die - I'm preeettty sure they're pity comms lmao

Nothing wrong. Even on BLM, I appreciate at least a 5 second countdown so I can time my first B3 cast or move to a decent position if I know the fight well. Even 10 and 15 seconds is fine, especially if the healer is a SCH or an AST and they're fishing for crit adlo or good cards. Healer was just being salty.

Had a midly annoying vault run (on bard) with a lot of death but strangely no wipes. Second and third boss can basically be summed up as: Healer dies first due to afking for some reason, tank dies after holding out with holmgang, then I naturally die next and the dragoon finishes off the boss with LB.

What caught my eye first was the AST using balances on the tank, the defiance tank. Then during the second boss I'm pretty sure they weren't lagging. They were targeted by the circular ground aoe that causes heavy but only moved right as the aoe did the second bit of damage (with the heavy) basically instantly killing the healer. They also died immediately after holy flames on ser sickness purge. Despite all of this we still never wiped but came really close to it on both the second and third boss.

I've seen people leave fast but man that healer booked it out of the dungeon real quick.

No one said a word the entire run. Probably a good thing.

I'm just gonna plain say almost every game with someone from Odin(EU) in it makes me almost cry. There seems to be nothing to please them. Everything you try to do (or do) is wrong, everything you don't do is wrong too. Being humorous doesn't work either. All seems wrong. It's kinda depressing to mainly have experiences which consist of get hit with as much elitism (or just hostility?) as possible. All that by just one server's folk. Man, what is happening over there?

this shin ex pt was doomed from the start... first pull, our sch can't stay alive very long into p1. we replace and go back in. everyone is doing pretty well until p3 where we have a few deaths but everyone gets up. we plug away until reiryus, then half our party is wiped out (from what, idk tho). blow an lb3 to raise everyone, it's time to hop on the wings but we have no lb! obviously we wipe, then the tank catches an attitude, says "i hate this group.", blames the dps and leaves. typical of pf fashion, everyone leaves after and my friends and i have a laugh about "i hate this group." it's our meme now.

I got stuck with a pally tank in a 60 duty finder who didn't grab agro very fast, didn't flash for additional mobs and then seemed to run in circles watching me trying not to die on my Nin. Ok, so first trash up to the boss was hairy, she'll tank the boss. NOPE. I ended up tanking and popping cool downs, tossing potions until 3/4 of the fight was over. My brother was the other dps as brd. We opted after the fight to instigate a removal of the tank after which the healer threw a fit and left. What went through my mind was "It's a -60- dungeon! By this time hate control should be understood."

I felt it wasn't my job to teach them tanking in a -60- dungeon.
