I was shocked the first time one of my retainers brought me back a tree. Then one of them brought me an entire Mansion exterior. HOW?
... says the person carrying an entire armory around with them in their pockets along with possibly metric TONS of random monster parts and bottles.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
I did not know this...consider my mind blown. I'll be keeping an eye out now xD
Another thing too is the random rarity of items sometimes from both of my retainers. One day it's a roof, the next day it's a NQ fish. It's even worse when one brings me HQ rocks that don't sell for much and the other brings me back a NQ muffin.
What, did you both just get freaken lazy or something? Where's my Compact Aetherial Wheel that sold for millions that you brought me two days ago? Huh? Did you both just walk outside and pick up the first thing that you saw on the ground and called it a day? The hell am I paying you both in ventures for?
/smh
Lol too true. It's like they exert themselves getting that really good item and think," I'll just get you this NQ fish, 10gil food item like aldgoat steak or tuft of grass for a few days now I'm pretty tired hauling that housing wall back here". Slackers the lot of em xD
Wait this happens?! I have yet to see this!
I think this is a scripted event, not real retainers. I saw one and never thought about it being a real retainer. They don't actually exist outside of housing decorations as only the owner ever sees them at the summoning bell.
Now catch your/someone's retainer out in the wild mentioning your name at the exact same time a shooting star appears in the night sky and screenshot it.
Just once i saw one right next to the noth shroud teleport while i was on my way to the ixal... ONE in 3 years xD
I most often saw retainers walking the road between the Gates of Judgment and Whitebrim in the Coerthas Central Highlands, as well as the occasional one logging near the Observatorium. But that was years ago, at this point.
