This, I lost mine when my phone died and hadn't copied the code down ahead of time. Just confirming my other account details allowed them to go in and reset it for me with no hassle. For future reference however there /is/ an emergency removal code on your SE account and I would highly recommend copying it for the future. It'll save you a phone call.
