What you really mean is...you are attempting to project your personal, subjective perception of something onto others as if your perception is either not personal or subjective, or is somehow objective. yet clearly nothing in your posts supports the objective angle, so...
if you want to "shatter someone's fantasy dream", you might want to start with some actual evidence, logic, and reason. show us some science. use it to craft a cohesive argument. else you're nothing more than a sophist. a charlatan.
and yet you'd deign to accuse another of being a politician? classic. deflect, project, shed the spotlight.

id rather have meaniful content then half baked crap or stuff that wont last. Like you and i said, most people wont even touch or give a hoot about a few of these things (achievements/caravan/leves) the story bit will last tops an hour. The only things i can see lasting even a short amount of time is the moogle fight and NMs (as long as they arent junk ones...but im doubting it)Just read the Producer Letter. There is opinion, and there is fact. New leves. New story misions, new caravans, new NMs, new seasonal events, the achievement system, and more. You can claim that "most people could care less" and that's probably true, but that's not what we are arguing because that is a matter of opinion.
All those things are CONTENT, it's staring you right in the face. Fact.
so yes, there is content, but little that people want or even could care less about, which means people will continue to bitch...and i wont fault them for a second.
Give me some content that will last, or that most people actually give a rats arse about. why are they bothering with stuff that most people wont do? why not give us something with more substance?
I remember when people were excited for chocobo caravan, which noone does even on a highly populated server like Figaro and company levequests, which there are only 2 of and the exact same thing everytime. So unless these new leves and quests they are adding are frickin awesome, its something we have already seen since beta. Slowly adding new mission and storyline quests remind me of wings of the goddess, ppl gonna plow through them the first 2 hours servers go up, gg. There isnt gonna be much to do. Sure ifrit was fun, the first 60 times you fought him... and now instead of having 1 boss to mindlessly grind were gonna have 2! TWO! Unless these moogle weapons are better than ifrit, then we will have even less to do.
It's the only endgame content being included in the patch, yes.
Moogle weapons will (probably) be strictly superior to Ifrit weaps, and as such you probably won't be touching Ifrit ever again. Enjoy having one boss to farm for the next 3-4 months with the exact same gear you've been using for the past several.
They're making a game.
Now when it says Ongoing in the Letter from the Producer.. what exactly does that mean? Ongoing starting from 1.20, or what?
Another thread about contentgeezzeeeeeeeeeee
Ongoing means they have been working on it for a while, and those things, like side-quests and NMs, have been in every patch since those were put on the list. (minus the lettered ones.)
Also not true. They've specifically stated that the new Caravan Escorts are end-game.It's the only endgame content being included in the patch, yes.
^ even if its aimed at 50's, its still the same thing we have had already, just slightly harder and likely more seals from it. I doubt anyone will suddenly start doing these because its for a higher level. Same junky side event, just on hard.
