I laughed, but... that's really inaccurate. Crafted gear is good for alt jobs, not having to go into normal Sigma weekly to take on savage is a boon for raiders and people who... just can't be bothered. Normal mode is a slog, the fights take way too long and people are just petty for the most part. Avoiding that by just making crafted gear is so much more tolerable than throwing yourself to the wolves.
