I get that people want the forums to be less cluttered, or maybe they think that if you put everything in one thread will grab the developer’s attention. However, I feel public outcries like this is important. If you don’t like these types of threads, then ignore them and move on. If you disagree with them, then tell the OP why.

Especially since we dont have a daily limit of allowed threads in this forum so a couple of more threads should really not be a big deal. Ignore it if its annoys you, or discuss the points of the OP but just flaming or posting Gifs is just bad. But hey with every post in a thread where you dislike its very existence will just make it stay active for longer.

No at all. Quite the opposite. You can play the game, and ALL of its essential content, just fine without ever even thinking about the app.

That was kinda my point... people making a big hello about this when they don't even have to use the app to play the game, you only get little extras with it and gather with pokemongo style.

I stopped my sub for the same reasons as OP. This isn't Pimp My Ride, where we should be excited to see subscriptions in our subscriptions. I paid a subscription to not have to deal with extra fees and microtransactions. Is this what I get for tolerating the Mog Station's existence? The chance to throw more of my money at the company for some basic features that should have been in the game from the start? I'd rather see a flat subscription fee increase than this

Pay to Pay to Pay since you need your game subscription, then the app subscription, then the retainer subscription. subception. :O

Sunshine, the pokemon go gathering was an april fools joke... The app is far far far more rustic.

This is definitely a Japanese phone app. IMO, it's actually a pretty useless app for the general western audience, unless you do intend to spend money in it (which, I guess, is the point?).
I'm waiting for the day that SE decides to gate a new job or race behind a roulette/gambling type of item from the cash shop, before I unsub for their "business" choices. Their lack of engaging content, even while funds are bolstered by said choices, on the other hand...
