I have stated as much since the times of the alpha forums... if one could look back at all posting I have done I always end things with the cat referring to myself... for I am the cat... Though it is interesting and I am curious that you are the first to point this out here.

Its at page 8 and 9... Why people didn't think the moogle weapons would have a moogle theme is kind of odd... then again knowing humans you don't really read or look at most things that come out until they hit you with it or stick it in a vid...[/IMG]

I for one, had no problem with any of the designs in the concept art.

The OTT crazy ones (PGL, ARC, and LNC) were not shown and they are the problematic designs.

The Sword, Wand, Axe, are all moogle-themed yet functional looking weapons.. It's a shame they didn't carry that design concept through all the models

This development team is making it appear as though they intend all End Game weapons to look absurd. Personally I'll reserve judgement for the third Primal Fight as I am sure this Moogle fight is more of a comedic thing than anything. That being said. If they don't start moving toward a more "High Fantasy" look, they run the risk of alienating their fan base, again.

The style of the primal weapons, so far, is "Fantasy". They are cartoony and cater to the WoW-like MMO crowd. Final Fantasy is "High Fantasy", it requires elegance. But, as I said before, this Moogle fight is likely supposed to be comedic. Ifrit is supposed to be Bold. I will reserve Judgement for the next set.
