I am one of those 20-somethings,and I hate my generation and its stupidity sometimes. I have been a salty old man since I was a child lol.

This is definitely a good change, though I will say it should have been implemented from the get go. How they ever thought destroying your glamour was a good idea is beyond me.

its prob easier on coding or server or something, and hopped no one would complain about that shortcut? There is no way someone legit thought it was a good idea, def more to the story.
For the topic itself.. i doono hard to feel joy atm, I feel like they keep doing 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Unless they are giving us 30 plates and 400+? slots.. or heck a real glam log.. i really do not care much. It is also possible it is a bargaining strategy. Like say they can release content that is 100 value, but they release it at 20 value, then "upgrade" it to 40 value in hoping people be happy with the 40 value. If they are, they win at saving money, the other 60 value. There is no other reason why the glam dresser was released in pre-beta state, same with Eureka. So then it enters an acceptable loss concept, knowing this system is undershooting what it can be, they must have planned thresholds of x number of subs lost vs cost of making better systems. Should PR issues pass a select threshold or lose enough subs, they act then.
This is why I can't stand white knighting anymore. I know what they are doing because I do it when trying to work out a price to buy or sell something. You do this as a protection, because you know they are going to counter different so you lowball in price offer / high when selling because you know you be talked into a different price. I do not think that is good when applied to game design. I feel like some kind of experiment in how little money they can get away with to fund this game with, just because most of the active users are ok with it, buying extra mog shop items. If it was not for "Playing for my friends thing" I would most likely quit long ago.. well in fact I am positive I wouldn't joined to begin with if it was not for the friendship concept. Now I am more or less playing because of a select few friends + sunken cost fallacy. It is interesting to me, I know what they are doing, self aware I am here because of that, and yet have problems pulling sub permanently till things get better. Lets hope I am successful this time around, since SE only understands money, not its players.Nobody outside can really say for sure, but there was a remarkable change where suddenly they had money for additional server capacity for houses and a plan of action for how to address the situation, none of which existed before.
To me, it looked a lot like the situation got the attention of a higher up at SE who asked "why are we getting this bad press and how can we fix it?" People talk a lot about budget issues, but when C-suite management wants a PR problem to go away, budgets can change real fast.
So no I am not happy with the change because I feel like they could of and should of did this from the get go, same with the full 4.3 notes, since in my view, they are under releasing what they can do, in hopes people are happy enough to save money. At some point it makes me wonder why they do not treat us like people and view us as a source of trying get as much money as possible from. Where I live, if a company messes up, they give some kind of compensation/ deal making, where SE is like, don't like it, unsub then.
