Just got out of a o5 normal run in my hunt for a bolt. Everyone was great except for the monk.

This guy dies immediately at the start (on purpose, it became apparent) and refused raises the entire fight. We did manage to clear without a wipe and just before we did (when the boss was at about 2%), the monk accepts a raise and as soon as the boss is dead, he opens the chests. He then proceeded to not roll on anything, run around, laughing at us, telling us "its just a game bro", "so much salt bro".

First person I've ever actually reported for harassment. I suppose we could have wiped and vote kicked him because he ended up rolling on one of the bolts that a few of us needed (and he won it).



Update: Spoke with GM Xithultor just now. What a quick response! I've never reported anyone before but it was just so blatant what this person was doing. Kudos to GM Xithultor for starting the investigation so quickly!

Yeah the two times I have reported someone instead of simply blacklisting them the GMs were super quick to respond and were wonderfully professional and friendly to boot.

Was tanking on Ala Mihgo and had a scholar healer a Red Mage, and a Ninja.

The dps pulled at the start for me, I took aggro back but then died after using cooldowns and we had to start again - one of the dps (from my free company) said to let the tank pull and we carried on.

I thought I died because i pulled aggro last at the start but then noticed throughout the rest of the dungeon that I had to use more cooldowns than normal. Also I had to fight to keep aggro quite a bit

I noticed at the end of the dungeon that the healer, for the entire run, didn’t use any shields and I don’t think did any manual healing and left it all up to the fairy to do the job.

Was in a HW leveling dungeon, I forgot which one but it was the one with the poison plants at the start. Tank pulls way too much and keeps stepping on the pods, thus making them explode and getting poisoned. Dies once and the Dragoon manages to tank it while I'm ranged DPS. Tank didn't even accept the raise from the healer, just thought we were going to wipe. Tank pulls again, of course way more than they can handle, stands in AOEs and pods this time. Of course they die but this time it results in a wipe. Tank suddenly makes an excuse that they have to go help their blind sibling who is hungry and wants help. Everyone in the party was immediately suspicious and found that excuse very specific. They left shortly after.

Encountered probably the worst mentor of all time the other day in Keeper of the Lake.He was playing as dark knight and only used grit and no cooldowns . Basically all he did was the one agro combo,unleash and unmend,He pulled in packs of 3 and because he used no defensive cooldowns the sprout healer couldnt keep him alive so we wiped on every boss.My favorite part was when the tank decided keep tanking the adds on midgarsommer facing towards whole party so we got regularly hit by all his breaths.Oh and did i mention his red mage buddy he came in with was afking half the time and he kept not moving to sides when second boss targets you.
And no the mentor wasnt new at tanking.I checked his characters.His Dark was level 70.
This is regularly the experience that new players are getting comeing into the game.Having to carry mentors.......

So got Cyrcus tower with my DRK and went OT. Everything's smooth until I noticed one of our RDM going around the boss arena in circles and casting Vercure in order to activate Dual Cast.

And everytime she aggroed the boss. After Amon, I got tired of he business and at Xande, I went MT and stole the aggro from her with Provoke.

During the fight she tried to steal aggro from me like she tried to do in the other fights but she wasn't able to.

The raid ended without any problems but jeez such behaviour should not be permitted.

So if on Moogle you see a Hyur with purple fox ears....please slap her for me.

I'm confused. Syrcus Tower is level 50 alliance raid, while RDM gets Vercure at level 54. While trying to proc Dualcast with Vercure is a thing among many RDMs, there should be no way for her to be able to use it while level sync'ed. Mayhap there's a misunderstanding here?

Indeed I misunderstood. She used Swiftcast. From afar (I was at the entrance) it looked like dualcast.
