It would take at least 10 hours to buy up the 10,000 tickets if you wanted to brute force it, not to mention trying to keep track of what numbers you've already purchased. Are you sure that's what you want to spend all your time doing?

It's easy to suggest doing the challenge log but they do not give a lot of MGP and it would take quite some time to accumulate from only doing these, not to mention some of the activities are not everyone's cup of tea.

I just started getting into the Saucer activities with 4.2 release and I've already earned close to 700k MGP. Even knowing there are things like the Fenrir mount to buy, it certainly feels like I'm earning MGP fast enough for just a couple of hours a week.

Sure? You have an entire week to buy 10,000 tickets. Just 1.5 hours a day at least. I've done much more tedious things for achievement points

Also not everyone has time to regularly do all the MGP related activities especially if they enjoy other parts of the game much more. And before anyone says that they work full time, 80hrs a week and can make time etc, it's different for everyone and no single person's life can easily be compared to another's. So kudos if you do have everything with money to spare, but for some the journey can be a long one.

The thing about MGP rewards is they are meant to be a time sink. Sure, some get lucky by winning big with the jumbo cactpot, but very few will ever see that. It takes time. Some people have more time to spare than others though, which is to be expected. If people want to max their gains per day/week, they will need to put in the effort and time and do things they may not want to do. The main thing I do is TT which, once you get yourself a nice little collection, makes getting MGP that much easier. The challenge log rewards for TT alone are nice. I enjoy TT so it works out for me.

As far as brute forcing the Jumbo Cactpot, I don't really see why we need to. There are plenty of other ways to get MGP on a daily/weekly basis.

It's for collectors of achievements and titles. All the other achi points in the game come from a challenge or grind effort.

This one is pure lottery and prevents people from finishing the game 100%. This guy is willing to actually lose MGP to brute force this, if that were possible.
