Hildenbrad doesn't need to include items and emotes as rewards when they can throw them up on the mogstation instead. That's why we got the Hildenbrad outfit for 12 bucks and no rewards for the new content. It's the new direction Square-Enix is going in.

This came from one of the Hildibrand-Quests - its the set that Hildibrand is wearing, when its not torn up.

On the topic at hand: I havent played the new Hildibrand yet, but I always enjoyed those sidequests for the story. That is the real reward for me there - I wouldnt mind having trials for it again and I'll take any minion I cant get, but I dont feel like this content really needs any reward beside being there.
