If they keep the sync for Ultimate I will be very surprised. I know full well how big Bahamut is as far as this game goes. I wasn't equating him to fireworks at all. They could have put anything as a reward via the lockboxes. That was the point I was trying to make.

Do I care if there's an emote there or not? No, and I won't buy it on the mogstation either. I'm fine not having it. But to say it wouldn't make sense as a lockbox reward? You are probably right, but if it were...no one would really question it. Not everything does or has to make sense. We have flying elephants and spinning turtles for crying out loud. Any sort of lore arguments went out the window long ago.
People would have definitely questioned it. Eureka players would have thought it's weird for such an important emote to be gated by random content (it'd also be the #1 reason players would enter Eureka). Ultimate Coil players would have rioted. It's an emote on par with the exclusive statue emotes, and you're suggesting nobody would care if it's in Eureka. It's the most inane 'reward'. Flying elephants and spinning turtles are fine, there's been crazier stuff for as long as the series has existed.

But Bahamut is Bahamut. You can't just throw Bahamut stuff anywhere. If it wasn't in coil, it definitely cant be in Eureka.

The new emote being in Eureka would make so little sense, it'd honestly be better to make it a FRONTLINES reward than Eureka. At least Frontlines takes place at Cartenau. Eureka is absolutely one of the worst places for this emote to be.
