Edit - Besides that, you're ridiculous for even equating simple fireworks to anything related to BAHAMUT. Bahamut is literally the only reason FFXIV ARR is ARR. Bahamut is the single most important plot element in the game.
If they don't remove the item level sync? That's fine. But it'll at least be easier to access later on. Easier to beat? Maybe not. But I wouldn't expect them to keep the sync. In case you have missed a few raid tiers and an expansion, they allow easier access and completion as time goes on for just about everything. If they keep the sync for Ultimate I will be very surprised. I know full well how big Bahamut is as far as this game goes. I wasn't equating him to fireworks at all. They could have put anything as a reward via the lockboxes. That was the point I was trying to make.

Do I care if there's an emote there or not? No, and I won't buy it on the mogstation either. I'm fine not having it. But to say it wouldn't make sense as a lockbox reward? You are probably right, but if it were...no one would really question it. Not everything does or has to make sense. We have flying elephants and spinning turtles for crying out loud. Any sort of lore arguments went out the window long ago.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

People would have definitely questioned it. Eureka players would have thought it's weird for such an important emote to be gated by random content (it'd also be the #1 reason players would enter Eureka). Ultimate Coil players would have rioted. It's an emote on par with the exclusive statue emotes, and you're suggesting nobody would care if it's in Eureka. It's the most inane 'reward'. Flying elephants and spinning turtles are fine, there's been crazier stuff for as long as the series has existed.

But Bahamut is Bahamut. You can't just throw Bahamut stuff anywhere. If it wasn't in coil, it definitely cant be in Eureka.

The new emote being in Eureka would make so little sense, it'd honestly be better to make it a FRONTLINES reward than Eureka. At least Frontlines takes place at Cartenau. Eureka is absolutely one of the worst places for this emote to be.

Unless you have £12 to spare

I’m neutral on cash shop, don’t mind whether it’s there or not and I’d buy something if there were things I wanted. But with the amount of people I’ve seen with Megaflare emote alone I have to wonder where all the money is going. The servers are consistently ‘unable to cope’ with basic demands like adding more aesthetic physical customisation, the battle system still needs work in various regards, there’s a suspicious amount of what looks like copy+pasting mobs, mechanics and concept and the dev team is apparently too small to balance jobs properly in current content, and that’s not even considering how much they struggle to create new jobs each expansion. They don’t have the money to reinforce server infrastructure, hire new employees or create new assets but they can afford an entirely separate team to make items for a cash shop? Maybe I just don’t know enough about video game development but seems odd to me

Why are some emotes like 3 dollars and others 12?

I kinda wish they picked a set amount for emotes and just kept all emotes at the same bracket rather than progressively getting more expensive. It feels exploitative. Like they're trying to see how far they can milk us.

Different emotes require different amounts of investment to make? Speculation mostly since I'm not a dev.
