You don't use any vpn or data management program do you? I hear people with them sometimes get those errors. If they play it as normal no issues. Then later on once they fix it on their end works fine. Well Good luck hope you get to play soon.I share it with the rest of my family, but they aren't home when I play. I usually only play when I am home by myself to avoid any added stress on the router. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the ISP is doing some wonky stuff during the day when most people are working, so maybe I could try later at night. I'll try and lower the settings to see if that does anything. When I logged back in after doing the changes suggested by Ariellendera, I tested the changes with some light combat, only to disconnect within 5-10 seconds after initiating a battle.

I used WTFast very briefly, only after experiencing these issues and that didn't do anything for me so I uninstalled it. I'll check in tomorrow night and see if playing at a different part of the day has any effect, and if not, I'll just wait patiently for a maintenance patch. In the meantime, any suggestions for a pure healer or magic damage class in WoW? Lol
Hello Grinka, Thank you for your response.
Please keep us updated on if playing at a different time of day makes any difference.
Hi! I'm having the same issue. Constant lag and disconnects (90k error), which makes the instanced content unplayable, since the last maintenance on tuesday.
I'm playing from Paraguay, on a PC with a wired connection. Also I'm not sharing bandwidth with any other device.
Tried all the options posted here and it hasn't improved. Also tried playing at different times and it only gets slightly better at early morning, after an hour approx. it starts lagging again.
Thank you for the reply alesandy.
Try doing a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.
Please let us know if that has any affect.

We are 6 people from Argentina, I have 2 in my FC. the server kicks us at the same time or peaks of lag, in the span of 15 or 20min to the start screen
I repeat, we are all from Argentina from different cities with different internet services.
This famous answer does not apply in this case: http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...67505&ret=main
I did it and unfortunately, it didn't improve my connection. I keep lagging hard and getting random disconnects.Thank you for the reply alesandy.

Lately I'm getting disconnected every 5 minutes. How exactly am I supposed to play the game like this? It's frustrating af and definitly not what I am paying for :C
Hello! Thank you all for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
We have provided the troubleshooting steps on the first page of this thread. Considering that relatively few people are experiencing this problem and most players are able to play the game without issue, I can't say with any certainty that the servers are the issue here. Since this is the only thing we have direct control over, we are left with our standard troubleshooting suggestions listed on first page (Although I should add that resetting your router and using a wired Ethernet cable when playing were not included in that post, those are things to try if you haven't already).
I do apologize that we cannot do more to alleviate this issue.
Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
This is only happening for me during peak hours of game play, when Eureka is busting at them seams and everyone is loading into queue at once. When it becomes a daily thing ever since the launch of Eureka, and it's the only thing new that been downloaded to your PC, than you have to question that it's more server side than client side.
Reboot has no effect in helping the problem. I understand you have to go by protocol, and read what's placed in front of you, giving out all troubleshooting possibilities, but there are other possibilities regardless of limit number of reports. I've been in this game for nearly 3 years and can tell when this isn't coming from connectivity issues. Maybe whatever hotfixes are planned it will unknowingly fix this.
