I can't help but feel that the Final Fantasy atmosphere is compromised by the lack of presence of series recurrent monsters. Although a few have been added in the game, even from the original version, they are all either used once and never again, or are massively high level and tucked away somewhere hardly anyone will ever traverse. Yet, any new content only recycles the same mobs we see everywhere else in our day-to-day travels. I'm very curious as to why this is.
I asked the dev. team what their plans were for implementing new monsters and they said that new monsters will continue to be added as we head for the release of version 2.0. They also informed me of the fact that they're planning on adding a couple of new monsters in 1.21, as well as adding more when they think of interesting ways to introduce them (like new scenarios, in specific areas, etc).
They even informed me that they are making progress with the implementation of mandragoras.![]()

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.
MANDIES!!!!!!
Sorry got a little excited there.

Mandragoras should be fun, and I think we should have a zone full of tonberrys like ugg temple in ffxi, that was a fun place.
