I don't think you have those wings on all the time though in Aion, they are just there for when you go to the rift, where you need to fly. More the equivalent of a mount than anything.

Wings as equivalent of a mount, huh...? That sets me wondering, *could* they put wings in FFXIV as a functional mount? It seems like it would be doable.

Well, GW2 has a similar thing with gliders. There are wing skins for gliders and it works really well.

The coats themselves are nice. I would love a wingless version.

Been wanting the for years now. The animations are there, just recycle the intro.
