With dyable AF gear, it's time to revisit the Glamour Plate limitations

Wish glam plates worked like wow's transmog
you bind the item to yourself- it gets saved to your glamours, no 200 limit.
save inventory space but still get the convenience of glam plates
and the item doesn't get deleted so you can have all the tiers of relic weapons and stuff :P

More plates would be nice sure, but its the limitation of not having plates assign to jobs that I'm posting about. All the healer sets are particularly pretty.

And they'll nerf those crystals, eventually. I'm in no rush.

Yoshida said this is coming in a future update, they won't be tied to jobs, but rather Gearsets; instead of the gear itself. Meaning when you switch to a Job gearset, only that set will have the plate on it. When this will be implemented is anyone's guess, but it is a planned update for the system.

I would highly advise against turning those Anemos armor sets into glamour plates unless you want to regrind 3000 Protean Crystals plus 750 Anemos Crystals all over again when the next relic step comes around.

Because of this, they should let players use items from their and their retainer's inventory and armory chests when making glamour plates.

Ok, I'm not at the point where I know what specifically you are talking about (only 52) I'm guessing this is fairly current gear that is somewhat difficult to come by. I know enough about MMOs to know that todays hottest doodads are either destroyed/vended in the next expac or kept for fashion purposes.

Considering the systems that are in place, any "special" gear (Job specific, dungeon/raid sets, Holiday and achievement) should be made to go in the armoire. It should be a given that this is the stuff many people will want to keep and shouldn't have to be begging for it. The dresser should then be for the more common stuff (common crafted vendor stuff).

Eventually, I'm sure we will get "Replica" Relic Weapons that are specifically for glamouring. However, I would now like this to be extended to the Relic Armour. We will eventually need "Replica" Relic Armour to sate this need. :3

Not to beat a dead horse, but I worked hard for my dyeable AF and would like to be able to swap between it on glamour plates. The idea of glamour plates is great, but the execution has been less than ideal.
