Just tried the same setup as above but I thought any Platinum scarf would work and i was wrong... Platinum scarf of fending only gave me 4* and not a gold coin. Be careful if anyone is crafting/buying one.

I did that same set up too using the casting version on the neck and got a 99.

They are already so often accused of favoritism toward females. Achievement-granting minigame BIS gear shouldn't be gender locked.

Unfortunately, these are just accusations, if we look at all the BiS items, they haven't shown much favoritism. It's mostly people finding excuses to hate fashion report.

Tantra Chestwrap gives 3 Stars
Witch’s Gloves gives 3 Stars.

If you have the other items this will give you 88 points with the correct dyes, which are easily available this week.

It requires Allagan Catalyst as part of the crafting recipe - I dont know if any of the NPCs related to Allagan culture is wearing one of them, but I could see the connection there.

I'm glad there's some connection but that kind of feels to me like a really long stretch.

These are supposed to be clues that help us figure things out, using recipe items is soooooo tenuous that I just have to /sigh. But I'm glad folks are on the ball figuring stuff out. Now my friend can get her 100 and we can be done with this event minus the 60k per week.
