According to the clock in the upper right corner of your gif, it is 2:30 PM (assuming EST), where most people are ether at work or school. That could be the reason for a near dead instance.
This time yesterday every instance I entered was packed, even around the aetheryte. This is either a coincidence or telling us something else. Hoping it's a coincidence, but...can't help but feel it's not.
