Does anyone think that Eureka is FFXIV version of FFXI Dynamis?

Because it's not obsolete. In fact, the item level was set to what it is to prevent raid gear from being obsolete already.

Everyone seems to look at content like "Oh how will this apply to my main job" when they're forgetting that this is for glamour/alt job gearing.

Byakko/memoquartz/omega give better stuff and faster than this content for my subjobs, don't blame me, i just give a fact and i have never said my answer was the best, think what you want.

(i have finished my scholar relic and i thought eureka would bring some nice/useful stuff but it doesn't cause, the time you will waste for that, a new patch will come and it will ruin your efforts.)

Imo they would have made Eureka available at stormblood launch

I fail to see how gear with two materia slots that cannot be pentamelded is "better" than something with 5 perfect slots. It's faster, I give you that, but you still have to grind for it anyway. (There is a difference between something being worth it and something just flat out being superior). Furthermore, this gear will likely be expanded upon with higher tiers of upgrades in future patches. I also mentioned that this is for Glamouring. Everyone want's to preach glamour is the true endgame, but when it comes to the relic quests, then that philosophy seems to no longer apply.

Once again it depends of everyone's personnal playtime, i was motivated for my main relic cause the ilv/stats were interesting for me and the relic quests were added in a better time in the game than Eureka. Concerning glamour i think it's too much time some stuff we already have but with some diffrent colours.

Maybe you will be right in futur, but actually, Eureka is a bit disapointing imo.
