Couple bad runs of FC hard last night.
1st time I had a tank who seemed aggressive from the get go. I'm blm & building up enocian for the free fire spells and such, doing the usual rotation I've done a million times with no issues.
He shouts out "BLM what the $$$$ are you doing?" "Single target spells?" Uhh yea, B3, enocian, B4, F3, F2 for AOE. We're only on the first group of mobs. so no big deal. Think Mr Tank wanted me to be hard casting F2 with only 1 AF on me because he seemed really annoyed when he seen me cast "single taget spells"
We carry on beat Ultima warior then I get booted out the blue.


I hop back in once kicked and begin again, only this time I have a newbie healer on their first run. They died on the first boss as didn't catch the direction of the lasers, she apologised and said they would catch that for next time. We carried on, beat boss without the healer, hop in the teleporter and a vote kick for the healer pops up due to AFK (they weren't) I declined as thought it was a joke but then sure enough healer is kicked by the tank and other DPS (who have same surname so guessing a couple) Tank dies to the first mass pull after the teleporter and I comment
Me: "Why did we kick the healer?"
DPS: "I don't know"
ME: "Well it wasn't very helpful, it was their first time, we didn't wipe. It happens"
You have been removed from the party and duty. lol

This one sounds like a clear cut case of kick abuse...

Getting smaller pulls than usual, but things going fine.
When running to the last boss, the tank shouts: "LOVE YOU GUYS" and other nice things about nice dps and such.
Just made me real happy, seeing someone so positive. The world's not such a cold place after all.

If I'm not mistaken(haven't had to use it in a long time...and not currently at home to be able to check) it should be under the System menu->Support(or something like that, I think it's the top option).

As a healer main, I feel triggered reading this given the rest of the story.

Given how the story went, I'd almost be tempted to respond with "sorry, I don't raise healers that aren't healing " but that'd just aggravate the situation. I'd say just blacklist and move on if you haven't yet because then at least you know you'll never get them in any PF afterwards.

I hope next time you go in with the same situation that I get paired with you just so you don't have to deal with that >>;

Given how the story went, I'd almost be tempted to respond with "sorry, I don't raise healers that aren't healing " but that'd just aggravate the situation.

I'm generally a proponent of trying to keep the peace and making things work within a party, but this would have been hilarious.

It irks me to no end when people refuse to do their job when they disagree with how someone else is playing (within reason). Now, if during that first attempt they found that they couldn't keep up with the tank's HP spiking and other party shenanigans, they could have mentioned this during the wipe and could ask them to stay in tank stance to help make it smoother. But alas, it doesn't sound like that happened, and instead they opted to act like sulky children and just refused to heal.

Leveling gave my BLM Darkhold a few days ago. Blessed new sprout WAR tried. I asked him to turn around so the positionals would be better for the MNK. The WAR asked why, what difference does it make? I explained that it would mean that the other people in the group (melee in particular) would not be the ones possibly pulling extra mobs and that the melee who had positionals could execute them. They'd started to do it, not always but sometimes is a good start. I said thank you.

Yesterday's leveling gave me a similar story but the new GLD would not use flash... at first. I don't think I explained it very well but he was with a CNJ and a THM in Tam-Tara. All three were new sprouts. Tam-Tara is what it is so it wasn't a pain that I would have taken much time to try to help but I had told them "Please try to use flash" and then "you can use shield lob as you run to the enemies and then flash when you get close." He uh... adopted the face plant run in and flash technique. I wish I had explained more but none of them seemed all too interested and Tam Tara is easy enough that it wasn't hard even if I did BLM tank enemies since they'd die before I would and the CNJ was good about healing and killing things. Plus, it's so new I don't expect them to be great. I just wanted to give some tips and pointers for improvement. Since it didn't matter much at so low a dungeon level, we just finished the dungeon with no real fuss.

I think they all came in together since I got three commendations and they all came from the same server. I hope the new tank develops into a great tank!

It's getting to the point I literally won't dps without a friend on healer, yeah. In my opinion outside EX/Savage healers are the ones to make or break a fight and trusting that to randoms is just scary., etc...

I'm so sorry, Moro. It seems a certain attitude is settling in among some players that they can do whatever they want and have others carry them. It doesn't work like that. It's a team effort where everyone takes their part.

When I get into the big leagues, I want you to know I'd be happy to have your back. Red mages should be dealing damage. Not casting Veracures while the healers are sitting around doing nothing.

I know that the passenger carriage might seem like a comfier place to be, but there's angry exploding ghosts in there. Please spend the vast majority of your time with the rest of the party instead of being in there!
