As someone who went for Anima when it released, I'd rather do Alexander again.Is this your first relic?, the grind isnt the worst part, people that complain about the grind should shup up, it isnt even the worst we have seen for fuck sake, the only thing wrong is they didnt even gave the weapon a new model even tough we had new models by this time on HW and ARR.
Remember when you needed 4 different items and to get that amount, you'd run each wing 200 times? If I'd rather that already, something's up.
Here's my feedback as a hardcore raider but also someone who've done 8 zeta weapons and 7 lux weapons so far. I don't mind grinding whatsoever. My problem is - grinding in Eureka is just as bad as Diadem back in a day. It's mind numbing. Over half of the party I joined didn't manage to endure an hour in there and just left.
You know what ? forget what I said - it's actually worse than Diadem. Carrot on the stick just ain't there as the amount of crystals u need to gear up 1 job with stuff that's outdated on release is just absurd. Who thought it's a good idea ? How can anyone find fun killing thousands of uninteresting and reskinned mobs with pretty much 0 mechanics ?
I find it absolutely unreal that it has been delayed so many times. It's beyond lazy game design and seriously - anyone who defends this has extremely low standards. I see that cash that they milk through merchandise and cash shop is certainly going towards good cause. Definitely. It takes forever to design an island and populate it with copy paste mobs and put xp bar in there. I don't see myself coming back there. It's terrible content. Those responsible for it clearly have ZERO understanding why people play this game and what they enjoy.
I've grinded 50 relics and 60 animas, but this isn't fun at all. There's a reason why 90s and early 2000s game design isn't made any more.
It's not fun any more. I've had enough of that life, I'm ready for the fun.
ok played it for several hours, done solo and groups and... yeah this is really bad, if its ment to improve later on most people wont see that becouse the start is massivly slow. Iv heard of NM but never seen them so thats clearly not viable for leveling, it needs massive work, Iv heard people try to defend it saying ooh its just like old mmo, well old mmos died for a reason. It sickens me thinking development was taken away from other things in game to work on this crap.
Played for 3 hours straight. Only level 3. This reminds me of old Maplestory. I get the idea is cool... but... the leveling is just god awful.
Honestly I just don't get the obsession with having content like Eureka/Diadem in the game in general, let alone locking relics behind them when so much time was spent tuning the relic system to allow people to grind content they were comfortable with and progress them as they like.
It's like a complete reversal to force people to do this new content - just a suggestion, if the content is good you won't need to force people to play it.
Regardless, first time since 2.0 launch that I won't be taking part in the relic.
For early stages? The HW relic's crystal grind for fates was worse than this. Mass zergs of fates you had already done to death by then until you got their HP up that it was pointless to keep fighting them time-wise. This is repetitive, but they could have just forced you to do the same thing as the past relic in SB lands instead.
Waiting for ages, delayed for ages, for this? I've seen similar things in f2p Korean MMO's.
