The "Pirates in the Sky" hint has shown up before and it was the Lvl 64 gear for it's slot. So this is probably Tigerskin Gloves of some kind.

While the gunner theme probably refers to Stephanivien, I can't help remembering that the BRD/MCH gear from Rabanastre is modeled after what Mustadio from FFT wears...

If i remember right, the "Pirates in the Sky" hint previously meant we had to wear an item that matched what the sky pirate NPC(leofard? i forget which, but someone will remember or look around this thread and find it... probly between pages 15 and 30) was wearing. I havent looked in on him yet, so i dont know if that would be the same type of gloves or something different.

It probably is the whole set Leofard is wearing, which would mean the gloves are indeed the Tigerskin Gloves.
Since those can be dyed, unlike the original set.

I'll be mighty impressed if the bracelet is the old level 10 Bone Armillae. I'm not really familiar enough with alternatives to have a better idea.

Uhmm...where did you get it from that Leofard wears those gloves? I went to see him yesterday and it doesn't look like he's wearing anything to me...even on Garland Tools it says he's not wearing anything on the hands slot :/
