You mean the Dactyls? Yes those are dinosaur...birds. I'm talking actual on the GROUND dinosaurs like that mount.

I mean, T-Rexes are supposedly ancestors of the chicken, so... I dunno what to tell you. Maybe the T-Rex mount might pull a pair of ginormous chocobo feathers out of thin air, becase game logic, and flap them like comically oversized wings. That's what I'd do, at least, for reasoning behind the dinosaurs' flight.
