Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Not surprised they're from my server. I could say more, but the rules and all that.

Why are people still demanding anything of other players at all. It's like, we asked for ilevel minimums, we got them. We even got a "must have completed" switch for forming parties. Demanding anything from a PUG is childish. You know, I'm on the side of the people who are laughing at you folks telling people running 4-mans to "go watch a guide". Frankly, for anything below Savage, watching a guide is not necessary, tho it is helpful for a handful of Level 50 dungeons (Haukke HM being the biggest offender here).
There is a very, very clear difference between needing to do research for a freaking 4-man dungeon, and actually needing to do research on how to play your class.
Last time I checked, most of the people in this thread have a problem with people who don't care enough to do the latter, not the former. If you know how to optimize your class, you can get through most things blind. Even actual raiders like myself are perfectly fine with people walking into 4-man dungeons blind, because they're only 4-man dungeons. Watching a guide on them, built for the time period in which the dungeons were originally released, might take longer than the actual run itself. :/
We're not freakin' World of Warcraft, dammit. That game's community seems to be doing everything in its power to chase away new players with the exact same mentality that you advocate for. FFXIV expects its community to dispense help whenever it's justified. If your answer to -everything- is 'go watch a video guide', then maybe you didn't really understand something yourself (and/or you didn't even follow your own advice), as the mass roasting over the past few pages should have told you.

"Consider this old adage: When a Bard sings alone in a desert, and no one is around to hear him... Is he truly singing?"
