Missing Genders: A request for Male Miqote, Female Highlander, and Female Roegadyn

Where the hell in my entire first post did I demand they be distributed RIGHT NOW?
You make it sound like we are demanding something impossible when we are not. The first post asks if they still have plans to release them that is it. We don't care when, just want an answer yes or no. If I had to say when, I'd say have them ready for the PS3 release.

This is pure cosmetic change , is even less necessary than jump or pvp , and god knows jump and pvp should not be priorities right now.
The devs are looking into whatever thread got more posts, so it would be rather sad that we are discussing thins such as this instead of trying to fix the game .It doesnt matter if your asking for now or when the expansion comes.What it matters is how much does this would make the game better.This is purely cosmetic.

Like i said before, he is one of the trolls who just doesnt want to see the missing genders in the game at all. What he doesnt seem to understand is that if they dont add them eventually there will be a big hole in the story/lore. Its not just cosmetic, its a big part of the entire game.

Because the lore supported that male mithras never came to the main continent and were very rare. In FFXIV it says nothing like that, all it says is they are somewhat anti-social, but they are not few in number, so there is no excuse not to add them this time.

lol I kind of feel bad for you...

while I don't agree with what you're saying, I can respect your opinion. You aren't trolling, you're just saying that other things should take priorities before new races do. That's fine, I see where you're coming from (personally, cosmetics are very important to me and apparently these guys in games, though).
It kind of amazes me how quickly people are to call others trolls. Zkieve may have a different opinion, yes... but that doesn't make him a troll. It's not like he's saying "LOL ANYONE WHO WANTS MALE MIQOTES IN FFXIV ARE FURRIES AND YOURE ALL STUPID FOR WANTING DIFFERENT RACES". THAT'S a troll. He's just saying that the game has more important issues to correct first before we introduce more cosmetic things.

I'd like people to respect other's opinions... although that seems to be a lot to ask with these forums.

Speaking of cosmetics, I got kind of pissed off looking at the FFXIV official site yesterday. I saw some things in the old screenshots/CGI and videos that weren't in the game, like white face paint for miqo'te. Why the heck isn't this in the game right now? It's just a couple of small textures to implement, especially if they already have it done... that makes no sense. I'm still pretty appalled by SE's lack of character creation options, especially with how they were flaunting it pre-release. I hope when/if they implement the missing genders they also implement new features for existing models. ~_~
I remember when they said they added new features in Beta 3... the only thing they added was one hairstyle. For female humes. Really. Come on. I want more diversity. =\

Character customization is quite lacking. However it is leaps and bounds more than what they provided in XI! lol Hell, I remember, being so disappointed after character creation in FFXI when I found out the high polygon models in character creation was not the models you saw in game. EVER! Booo... lol

The thing is, SE mentioned way back in a couple articles that they'd have an in-game "salon" type of thing to change characteristics for gil. There's like a crap ton of stuff they promised in vanilla that never saw the light of day.

If they have new features I would *assume* it would be introduced around the same time as the "salon"... and the missing genders.
