My little BLM heart loves both of you.
Canadian, eh!"When someone told me I live in a fantasy land, I nearly fell off my unicorn"
Love when people try to start shit and it back fires. Well played to your FC leader.
somehow wound up in a savage party with very pushy/nasty monk? who was basically smack talking the war for some reason or another? (i literally couldnt follow the conversation at all) but it basically came down to the monk, asking the pld to pull bc the war was "being a huge baby" and that we, the party "aren't good and couldn't push high numbers." mind you this is before we even pulled. and also something else like "if you don't play to do get good idk what to say." "we don't understand video games." etc. granted war did pull with this advice (?) the monk was giving, presumably bending to what the monk had said, lost hate and we wiped. its been a sad weekly clear day....
i'm sorry.... i'm betting that was probably me. i know it's not much help but i'd like to explain. i work for a security company and we recently took over a new contract. we were short handed to begin with and needing 4 additional full time employees for this site put us in a bad spot. despite being a 24 hour location i'm the only employee working there right now. when i'm not on site i remotely monitor cameras on my laptop and control access via a cell phone from home. i play on a ps4, so any time someone would call for access to a different area i'd need to put down the control and use one hand for my laptop, and the other to use the site cell phone. normally, i wouldn't disrespect my parties time by not giving the game my full attention but i've been working 16 hour days 7 days a week for the last two months and need an escape. i remember the run and the boss fight in particular. the night had been mostly quiet and right as the run started the phone started ringing off the hook. once we hit the boss and the shield went up i started receiving multiple calls at once causing me to have to juggle call waiting in addition to everything else. i tried desperately just to avoid the aoes so i at least wouldn't be to much of a burden on the healer. hopefully that explains all the full stops during that run. again, sorry for playing while distracted. Also had a weird run of Hell's Lid for my EX roulette before those. The other DPS(both of us were RDM) would just randomly stop attacking the mobs, and just stand there for a few moments(my guess is typing something to a friend not in the dungeon). That isn't what bothered me about the run though. During the final boss, when he throws up his shield...it was only me, the tank, and the healer attacking it. The other RDM put their weapon away and just stood there until they needed to move to avoid the AoEs. Since it was the final boss...there wasn't much reason to do anything about it.
Do you have an alt on Coeurl that's a Keeper of the Moon? If so, then it could be you(due to the "no naming and shaming" can't really say unless you say the name yourself)...but if it was you, then that's understandable...I know the feeling of being VERY understaffed and busy.

lol. guess it wasn't me then. i was really hoping to apologize to the right people for that run. everyone left before i could.
Was trying to do Shiva on Extreme...dear Zeus did the matchamking system spear me this time. The tanks didn't get the mechanic, even though they "swore they did". Had 2 RDMs who kept dying due to standing in the "fire"(Ice), and the tanks kept getting one shot. Keep in mind this is a lvl 50 raid, with some very simple mechanics. Tried 4 times, 2 of which the dps couldn't burn down the adds, the other two, the tanks were complete morons....if you're wondering why people don't like healing, this a perfect example.
To be fair, if this was synced, Shiva EX is old content that not a lot of people remember the specifics of. When I pull old ARR exs in mentor roulette, I literally go look up a guide to skim through because I dont remember certain strats. (Except Titan Ex).Was trying to do Shiva on Extreme...dear Zeus did the matchamking system spear me this time. The tanks didn't get the mechanic, even though they "swore they did". It's around that time where the latest 24 man becomes a chore more than it is entertaining for the effort involved. Been awhile since I've seen a Hashmal summon two sets of golems.
I mean the run was "fine" but the dps output was lower than when it released. Getting a deja vu sense from when weeping city was relevant.
EDIT!
Okay so I didn't think I'd have another story but...
To celebrate myself making my tanks an entire HQ 350 set I decided to do a leveling roulette, for a cluster as well. I'm wishing I did not. I got Doma Castle which is fine... if people know how to play their class. The healer did not. I had an AST who never draws cards, never did much of anything actually. They did absolutely nothing but Benefic 1 spam, rarely essential dignity. I am pretty sure I healed the dps more than the healer did with Clemency. I saw maybe two cards drawn throughout the dungeon, 3 if I managed to miss one.
Where's the cards? Benefic 2? Aspected heals be it noc or diurnal? Celestial? Earthly? SYNASTRY? I don't get how you can absolutely ignore even your basic ARR-level skills. This is why I healer main. And even if they tune up DRK I might have to stick to Paladin because even as a tank I'm apparently playing healer.
I didn't kick them but sigh. Figured it wasn't worth the effort and I just single pulled after using hallowed on the first pull.
