nice, you criticize me for being on the list at all, just because I've been on the dailys, then completely ignore everything else I said. Perhaps you should take your own advice.
Example:
So um...I've done every Grand Company quest and done all the harsh difficult stuff...even killed Ifrit...and on top of that I've done caravans and company leves and earned 40,000 seals. I grinded nonstop to earn 5000 seals hoping to compete for the weekly title of Hero.
Newb enters the game plays for 1 day does 4 extremely easy quests...earns over 5000 seals and earns hero recognition and achievement....
Fair? I THINK NOT.
Turn the tide of war? Have you studied war? Wars are mostly won by blockading supplies and resources...those that risk their life to open the path to get rations through and keep their people alive to fight another day...those are the heroes.
Actually I have studied military history, and yes, the outcomes of entire battles have changed because of one lucky shot that killed a general, or because one guy held up reinforcments in a delaying action. the latter one would be considered heroic.Example:
