Preferred Race: I'm willing to work with anything Male really - Lala's would be hard to work with for obvious reasons - but I'm open to the idea. Au Ra would be my favorite as I adore the Au Ra race.
Main class?: White Mage/Red Mage
Dislikes: People who don't pay attention to what I say and assume I said something else. The next thing would be that I prefer to enjoy the game and not be concerned with perfectionism - to learn by doing. Bashing newbies.
Goals for the game: Omnicrafter/to continue clearing the hardest challenges of the game. Would be nice to have a partner.
Goals for the marriage union: Someone who will listen to my rants on the bad days and likewise someone who will rant likewise too me. To have fun doing party content. Enjoy the game. Personal Interests: Anything that really makes me think. Brain teasers, puzzles, the like. I also like to write, although I don't do it very much at the moment.
Play schedule: Anywhere between mid/late morning and mid/late evening, depending on what I happen to be working that day. Very likely to be mostly towards the afternoons and evening for the next several months, as I work the opening shift quite a lot during that timeframe.
What kind of gamer are you: I'm casually hardcore. I make lofty goals for myself and go about achieving them over time without really worrying about it. I like the social aspect of FFXIV the most, but I'm also content with just spending a bunch of time gathering and crafting in peace for a few hours or sitting somewhere and watching chat while doing something else on occasion.

Etc: Hello, I am Alyssa, a 24-year old transgendered female. I haven't been the biggest fan of the MMO genre (as they usually struggle to catch my attention), but FFXIV managed to grip me quickly and make it easy for me to get into. The community has done a great job in leaving a good impression within me when I initially started playing back in May, so I try to pay the favor on whenever I can.

I like the large variety of content within the game, but it's the social aspect that keeps me around most of all. While I am looking for an eternal bonding opportunity, I am still happy to add anyone who would just like some more friends around. ~Maybe I should make myself a little clearer. I am looking for a a couple of good friends to hang out with and talk to. Bonding is not my main goal or need. If it leads to a bonding ceremony that is great. That probably means I met my gaming partner in crime. But to have decent people to laugh and joke with while getting to know each other and share common interests is the ultimate. They can be male or female. It's been a while since I posted here, so I figured I would give it a try again.

Before I get started, I just wanted to make it clear I'm mostly looking for a friend right now. I'm not looking to instantly jump in a marriage, if I do get married at all. It would be nice to get to that point eventually, but right now I just want to meet a good friend. I am also not looking for a romantic relationship. I just want a partner in crime. It will be a long process to get to know someone, and you will not win me over instantly. After dealing with many bad people and failed relationships of all kinds, I am skeptical and take a while to trust someone and really open up. All I ask is for is respect, patience, and acceptance.

Server: Sargatanas (Aether data center). I also have a fully leveled alt on Hyperion (Primal data center) so through Party Finder I can meet anyone on any server in the NA region to do things.

Willing to transfer?: Probably not. I have already transferred twice and now I currently have a large house in Shirogane so... unless I REALLY like you, the likelihood of me moving is slim to none. Sorry. I am willing to do things cross server through party finder to get to know you, and make an alt to visit you. Bonus points if you want to do the same and visit me. Come see my house!

Personal Interests: Final Fantasy and games obviously. I like adventure, RPG, strategy, action, etc. All kinds. I also enjoy reading, cooking, the occasional show, music, writing, artsy things, and too many others to really list here. It will come out in conversation eventually.

Play schedule: Right now it's pretty flexible, but generally evenings EST. I am usually on by 5 p.m. EST and can be on as late as 2 a.m. EST (or later if I can't sleep). I may be on earlier or later, but 5-2 are the most reliable hours to find me.

What kind of gamer are you: I used to be pretty hardcore, but I've become more relaxed and casual and like to try to enjoy the game experience, exploration, and story now. So midcore-ish? I still like to challenge and push myself to be as good as I can possibly be, but I enjoy exploring and story and doing side things.

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? No. I don't care what you are in game whatsoever. I only care about the person. Being that I'm mostly just looking for a friend, I don't care what you are at all. Anything more? I would prefer female because I generally get along with females better.

Character Race: Hyur Midlander. I have a female Miqo'te alt on Hyperion as well.

Preferred Race: Anything but Lala really. If I'm to be honest I'm not really fond of Au Ra either, but that's not a deal breaker. I don't care what someone plays. I will either like you for you, or I won't. Race has nothing to do with it. I will not, however, marry a Lala under any circumstances. Sorry. They are adorable, but do not fit my personal taste for marriage. I'll be best friends with one and give hugs and snuggles though! For what I personally like though, Miqo'te or Hyur Midlander. Female Miqo'te animations often mirror and fit Midlander perfectly and they look adorable together. Again, it doesn't matter what race or gender your character is though. I only care about who you are.

Main job?: Red Mage. I've played it since XI and picked it up immediately in Stormblood. I also play Paladin, White Mage, and Black Mage. I can play everything, but those are what I play the most.

Dislikes: Lies. I know this is common to put down and has been overstated, but there is more to it than that. I don't like being led on. I don't like being told I'm special or I mean a lot to you one day, and then the next you treat me like garbage. If you say something, commit to it. Otherwise don't say it. That's really what bothers me the most. I also don't like when someone goes hard to start, then burns out quickly and becomes disinterested. Spare us both the time if you're not in it for the long term, then look elsewhere because I'm not looking for temporary and disposable friends.

Goals for the game: I recently got a mansion in Shirogane, so that was one of my bigger goals for the game. Eventually finish all jobs to 70 (nearly there), get all primal mounts, and just relax I guess. I do savage raids and like getting gear for end game. Other than that? Just have fun.

Goals for the marriage union: I just want a good and close friend to talk with and play together. Someone I can do anything and everything with... a partner in crime if you will. I'm not really a quantity person. I make very few close friendships, and usually stick with them. I want that special partner I can share everything with. I do have a mansion in Shirogane so I would like to share that with someone. We could redecorate it together!

Etc: As I said before I'm not looking to get married right away. It will take a while before I even get to that point. I'm mostly looking for a good friend and someone reliable to do things with. I'm tired of playing alone and want someone there to experience the game with. If we eventually get married? Great. But please don't contact me thinking it's going to be a quickie and a romantic relationship is going to be involved. I'm not fast, and I'm not easy. I also have a fully leveled and geared female Miqo'te alt on Hyperion as well, but I'm not on her much and that is not the character I will focus on. I am saying this because I am tired of people messaging me and going "can you change to a cat girl for me? I will buy you a fantasia!" and the answer is NO. I will not change for you. I already have a Miqo'te alt I play, and if you can't accept what I play and expect me to change to fulfill your short term fantasies, you'll be disappointed because I don't care. If you're really that hard on for cat girls go to Rule 34, Pornhub, or visit any town or area in the game. You can't go 5 steps without running in to a cat girl. They are a dime a dozen, and I will not change myself for someone with a cat girl fetish. Sorry.

I really am easy to get along with and honestly don't ask for much. I don't want free stuff, money, or anything. I just want companionship. When I am someone's friend, I take that very seriously and am with them no matter what. I don't bail when things get hard, and I won't abandon someone. I will go to hell and back with you. I only ever ask for the same courtesies in return. Basically, just give me the same effort I give you. I am a very caring and giving person. I just don't like being taken advantage of and unfortunately that has happened way too often. I don't strive to just be a friend. I strive to be the best friend you ever had.

What kind of gamer are you: Casual/focused. I tend to love all aspects of a game, though it is the social aspects that keep me most interested. I tend to mix crafting, gathering and questing in with RP, fishing, and sitting around and chilling and just chatting with folks. MMOs are about the overall social experience to me.

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? It is perhaps picky of me (and a bit silly, yes), but yes. Preferably female in game and reality...though I am NOT looking for anything past friendship on and OOC level!

Character Race: Miqo'te

Preferred Race: Anything but Lalafell and Roegadyn. Sorry to folks playing those two races! Definitely happy to have friends there and RP, though.

Main class?: Paladin. Slowly working my way through content and plan on at least trying out most classes, though I love tanking, so some flavor of "tank class" will always be my "main"

Dislikes: Dishonesty, two-facedness, inability to commit, rudeness, intransigence, "woe is me" syndrome, drama llamas and "mary-sue-itis". Oh and people who think netspeak is proper English. We're not using SMS people...there is not a limit on what you can type in a line (and yes I know there is an eventual cutoff...that is what extended posts are for).

Goals for the game: To explore the game, experience the story in classes and main scenario, quest, see dungeons, craft, and enjoy RP

Goals for the marriage union: To have a partner for the game. Maybe not "all the time", but able to chat and hang out and do things, even if not questing. Most importantly, another RPer who is interested in a story between our characters. Romance, adventure, exploration and fun (and yes, mature subjects). More "light hearted" than not...I think most of us deal with more than enough drama and upset in our daily lives. Gaming should be something of an escape. Overall though, ideally? A partner to enjoy the game with and keep both of us interested in coming back to play.

Etc: I am a new player to FFXIV, though not new to MMOs in general. Long time RPer, wetting my toes in tabletop gaming and branching out over the years. I prefer in game contact, though do use Discord for chatting (I just often pay no attention to it while gaming).
