i think the marketboard should have the following sections added.
1. recently added items
2. whats popular (items that are selling fast)
please consider!! even just one of these added would be great

I'd like the option to filter out gender and race locked gear my character cannot equip.
I'd just be happy with being able to sort things in alphabetical order.
Maybe also add a filter for things that are no longer obtainable in the game, like all the random slag in the stone tab and old beast currency.
These are all great ideas.

Yes, every single one of them would vastly improve the MB/AH system. It is completely infuriating that you cant sort things alphabetically. It is very agitating that you have to check online for recent items. Its mind boggling that you cant know what the hot ticket items are just by glancing at a menu.
I just want the damn Wish List to be saved. It's that too much to ask for.... Ah I'll be listing stuff that I want to buy, then real life calls, you don't get on before maintenance and forget half the stuff you had an eye on, grrr!
That explains why my wish list(never used it until just recently) was empty the other day...thankfully I bought the one major thing I wanted from it. Sadly, I can't remember what the others are.
As for something to be added - some form of check on Orchestrations/Bardings/Minions if you already have it. Something like a pop-up dialogue that says "Hey, you already own this, still want to spend X gil to get another?"(one of my friends keeps mentioning this, so thought I would contribute it)
