Screenshots of Really Beautiful Characters

It might be their own creation, but it seems strange to call someone out for simply posting a screenshot of a character in a thread titled "Screenshots of Really Beautiful Characters" just seems like one of those wonderful cases where a handful of people simply want to complain simply for the sake of complaining. As it stands the people who are posting screen shots of their own characters are in lines with the threads what I would assume was the purpose of the thread to post screen shots of beautiful characters.

I mean if the intent was to praise characters created by others, maybe the thread should have made that clear. I do not know just seems odd to me.

On facebook there is no rule saying you shouldn't like your own comment yet you can't blame people for thinking you are an idiot if you do so.
It's the same here.
Yes, you can post your own selfie but in the other hand people have the right to think you're full of yourself.

Sure they have a right, but still seems strange since in the end it ended up derailing the thread. Also this whole selfie thing confuses me people are posting screenshots of what they view as beautiful characters, just so happens that a view people posted screenshots of the characters they created, sure they have a bias but the screenshot they posted is a character. Really just seems like people are complaining simply for the sake of complaining. Though I am guilty of derailing the thread so I will try to refrain from posting again.

Of course we all like our character but there is a thing call humility. Also I wonder who complains the most here.

1) The people blaming other for their lack of common sense and humility.

2) People lacking common sense and humility who complain when they are blamed for that.

If a thread of video game screenshots offends someone so much that they are willing to insult people by calling them idiots then I am not sure what kind of argument you are trying to make here....that if you personally disagree with something someone did then they are automatically an idiot and you must immediately and openly insult them over it? I mean sorry, but that kind of message seems like a bad one so it doesn't make a good case for your point?

I mean sure everyone has their rights...but if I went into every thread I disagreed with and called the people who posted in it "idiots"...who is really being the idiot here? Them for simply posting neutral/polite posts not aimed with any malice (assuming in this case the people in that thread were being neutral/polite and simply discussing something), or is it me for insulting people unnecessarily?

It is ridiculous...people taking a forum thread about video game screenshots and turning it into a circus over such a minor thing. Aren't there more important things in life to care about than if some random stranger on a forum posted screenshots of their own video game character in a thread asking for character screenshots which has no rules attached about what characters you post?

Like I've said before...make your own thread where you stipulate in the initial post that it is a thread ONLY for posting characters other than your own. Then if someone breaks said stipulation then go ahead and have at them for ignoring it.

As it stands this thread never had such a rule (and even the OP was their own character) so most people seem to have been posting simply for fun. Coming into this thread all offended and throwing insults over people not following non-existent rules doesn't accomplish anything. It's such a waste of time

As for the stuff below about humility and common sense...I mean sure those virtues are required in other things in life, but are those virtues required for a video game forum thread which is mostly for fun and related to a game which the goal of is to have fun?

Sometimes having fun means ignoring silly insignificant nonsense like having common sense about video game screenshots and/or where you can and can't post them, you know because no one stipulated any rules anyway. Also ignoring the idea of having humility about video game pixels...seriously that is a new one...humility about video game pixels. I don't even....
