Well she is right this is common sense to not post your own character in a thread like this.

There is "Show your "insert race name"" thread for that.

It's a cosmetic thread on a video game website. If you clicked on it to see beautiful avatars then does it really burn you who they belong to? If they match the icon of the poster, whatever. Close the thread and walk away. As it is this thread is mostly bitterness and bickering and I probably shouldn't be surprised because this IS the forums but oh well.

I mean the thread title is "Screenshots of Really Beautiful Characters" why are people getting shit for doing just that. Posting screen shots of what they view as beautiful characters.

It is just characters, why does it matter if the person posting the screen shot created the character or not.

It's a rather odd situation, but I somewhat understand most people's criticism. The thread is about posting beautiful characters in the world. You have a right to view your character as something beautiful, but then again, of course, you're going to find your own creation beautiful. I guess that's the narcissism everyone is referring to. So, players found it appropriate to acknowledge other people's work for a change, instead of going "Look what I made," like every other thread.

Ironically, the very first post on this thread is of the poster's own character. tbh, I personally like the idea of appreciating other people's works. It makes the thread somewhat different from the rest and adds more to the community. But, I don't think people need to attack others for posting their own characters. That's just my two cents.

It might be their own creation, but it seems strange to call someone out for simply posting a screenshot of a character in a thread titled "Screenshots of Really Beautiful Characters" just seems like one of those wonderful cases where a handful of people simply want to complain simply for the sake of complaining. As it stands the people who are posting screen shots of their own characters are in lines with the threads what I would assume was the purpose of the thread to post screen shots of beautiful characters.

I mean if the intent was to praise characters created by others, maybe the thread should have made that clear. I do not know just seems odd to me.
