Error 2501 or how to say get lost to your customer by SE

    Hey,so things short,

I have been blessed by the error 2501, in short, the third party that take care of SE payment decided that my account was a fraud and just literraly ban my credit card or any other transaction.

Se can't do a thing since its not them, and its been day i sent an emaile to Iovation without an answer.

So here i am,waiting until my game time finish to be kicked out of the game because some algorythm went wrong and SE dont give a fuck.

So nice support from SE,i love it.

You're not the first person this has happened to. Unfortunately there really isn't anything that SE can do about it, you see that over and over in all of the cases is happened. (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...r-subscription). Some people were able to remedy it by waiting 24 hours after a failed attempt before trying again. Unfortunately it's an automated IP block and there's really no one to talk to about it.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

An i2501 can be triggered by an abnormal connection, a public network (Internet cafe, University connection), the use of a VPN or simply too many rapid attempts. The system will try to filter out anything it finds to be "strange."

You can Use a Game Time Card to pay for a subscription or use PayPal to purchase Crysta, then use the Crysta to purchase anything on the Mogstation.

As this is not a technical issue, this thread will be moved to 'Separate Support Required.'

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
