    Double billing?!

    I just got billed for my subscription, but they double dipped! What was suppose to be a $13 has now become $26. I have very low funds as it is right now after helping pay for the water bill (-$200) and the Stormblood artbook (-$50) and now this?! I only have like $25 left! AND TO TOP IT OFF, I've been getting little to no hours lately so I'm only getting like $30 a week. I just sent something to customer service but this is still infuriating!!

    Do you, by any chance, pay for extra retainers? Seems odd that SE would just double your subscription amount unless you pay for additional services.

    If it's settled you can dispute the charge if it's an authorization depending on bank falls of within 24hrs. Optional services account depending on billing date as well.

    No, I do not. I got the email saying "Oh you've been charged $12.99 for the month" and then I check my bank and a $12.99 billing from Square is on there twice.

    If SE customer service doesn't respond to your issue, definitely contact your bank to dispute the transaction.

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    I can't tell for sure, but most times a double charge stems from a pending transaction (which will be refunded to you) or the card is on a separate account. Regardless, you will have to get in contact with the Support Center in order to get a more accurate answer. Please what for a response to your email or contact the Support Center directly.

    We do not recommend doing a charge back on the account as it can create issues with playing on the account in the future.

    This thread will be moved to the 'Separate Support Required’ subforum as contact with the Square Enix Support Center is necessary to resolve the issue.
