Disappointing Rank 8 Reward of Ananta Tribe

Rather had a outfit for beast tribe than another griffin mount. Wish if they wasn't going to add a outfit they added more glamour accessories. Like necklace, bracelet, earrings, and maybe fancy heeled shoes. Not sure why they needed to have two mounts for one beast tribe seems like a waste to me. Hope for next one they don't add any mounts and give more glamour items and housing items. Also Never asked for a white griffin mount wish ones would quit thinking that's what everyone wanted. If knew last reward was going to be another mount would not wasted my time getting to it.

I think that'd be more than fair despite the fact I'm quite happy with their rewards currently. Chances are pretty good that an Ananta themed outfit will be added though. They've done it before.

The Bloodhempen set gives me more of a feel of a Mesoamerican outfit but a I agree the Ananta is very much an Indian influence.

When I posted that I did want to say it had a Native American vibe, but upon actually doing a little bit of looking at Native dress for MesoAmerican stuff and Native American stuff, and then looking at some Mongolian outfits, I felt it was much closer to Mongolian stuff, which is where the Xaela stuff draws inspiration from. The shape is very different from the robes and stuff (which they included in a lot of other sets.) But the embellishments all look pretty accurate.

Also, on another note. Like the Ananta are all about beauty. Glamour items from them just made sense. Even if not a snake body or their exact outfit.

It's possible, though if that was the case I don't see why would they give it its own category, I'd assume they meant to add more quests to that category, and beast tribes have their own category.

True, but they did that for the doman adventuring guild too and that went nowhere

I was thinking the same, who asked for a repainted mount we already had?? I didn't saw anything like that xD

Also I didn't hope we would have a tail, but some glamour inspired? yes, like every tribe since they implemented this in HW. I feel this is a bit unfair, like wth they're the only ones without clothes?? not fair at all.

The original Griffin mount, that was a HW Collectors Edition exclusive. It's easy to say well we already had it, but in actual fact not everyone did nor do they still do, so how about we consider other players as well eh, they pay sub too.

Apparently they didn't pay the collector's edition upgrade lol

The upgrade which, to my knowledge, is available at any time. I imagine when the poster says "We already had it" they meant it's available to anyone who wants it; ie, "We already have pony mounts." Not everyone has them, but they're available to be obtained at any time.

Just like with the Mystic Panda on MogStation it's essentially the bear mount just recoloured, so not everyone will see the worth in buying it when there is free ones to obtain in game. The Griffin was not available to everyone for free until the Ananta Tribe came, that's all.

Of course, now, after the True Griffin was released as in-game obtainable, it's not entirely worth getting the HW CE mount. The mystic panda was released after the bear (and armored flying bear) mounts in-game, is a major difference. In retrospect though, it's weird they put it in the Ananta tribe quests instead of msq, because ananta already had the elephant mount.

You are right though. This is a rare moment of SE taking something one used to have to pay money for, and making it obtainable in game.
