I don’t really have one for the thread so I’ll give my opinion on the event itself. No new outfits. New furniture (I don’t really care about housing). Odd emotes. I guess the emotes will be fun to use for a while.
Good event!

Oh but don't get me wrong I totally agree with that.
For exemple when I see a miqote with a skirt I have fun trying to take a look meanwhile seeing said Miqo in undies isn't that fun since there is nothing left for imagination and curiosity.
But when it comes to not cover anything Emperor's set is the best.

To be fair, Little Ladies do save the world a lot. It's only right to represent.

Yet in official art work for the FF1 whm they're a dude. My point is that many of the men in the other FF titles tend to have a softer features than say Auron from X. Even Cloud can look good enough with the best options you can get him to get picked instead of two actual women. I'm not saying they would be really good looking women if you dressed them up but compaired to Gaulf, IV's Cid, Tellah, Yang, Fusoya, Cyan, Sabin, Strego, VII's Cid, Barret, Stiner, Amerant, Wakka, Auron, Sazh, Snow, Balthier, Bach, and Gladios the rest of FF's men have softer features for various reasons and to a lot of people softer features means more effeminate. Heck until one scene in V everyone thought a certain Pirate was a guy.

I'm going to be concise about this. The "Little Ladies Day" event is the wrong event to use IMO to symbolise this. Bear in mind we got the Royal Senseschal's set from a LLD event (which I daresay looks better than the female Songbird set). Now, IS there a problem regarding glamour gender equality? Yes, there is. But LLD is one of the few times in which FFXIV consistently gets it right. Events in general seem to get it right (since HW at least, it's possible it started before then too). It's the non-event/gold saucer glamour where things often take a turn for the worse (bunny set, HW thavnairian set, spring set, etc). Focus your ire at those instead. Besides, since we're bringing RL politics into this (which we shouldn't, but it's been beaten to the punch), the reason we have days for women/BME is because we're fighting for THEIR rights because of how often they're marginalised. So that argument falls down too IMO.
Disclosure: I'm a male playing a male character.
White Mage ~ Sage ~ AstrologianBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

It does seem a little odd to me with LLD being the FFXIV representation of Girls Day on March 3rd that they don't have a representation for Boys' Day on May 5th. Although Boys' Day has been renamed to Children's Day so there is no boys only holiday that I am aware of anymore. If they were to implement it a great item would be a flag pole and carp to fly from them. It would also allow a means to provide male only glamour as LLD does for female glamour.
