Their standard excuse as to why they can't be ask to make two different versions of gear. While it would look funny having a Lamia lower half, their gear isn't out of the question. They chose to go with the Griffin mount to avoid having to make Ananta gear female only.

Guarantee you they will not add the Ananta gear. If they give us Lupin (Most likely will be the next Beastmen Tribe) gear, I'm calling bs.

I really like the White Griffin.

But it does feel really lazy if you consider the content we've gotten this patch.

Most of it is reused assets and still Eureka is delayed, on top of only two dungeons.

I love the nails they give you, but I wanted more glamour and some nice Ananta housing stuff.

They show off all this nice stuff on the over world and we only get a handful of things. If they're gonna just reuse assets, they need to give us a lot more of it to make up for the lack of stuff.

That, kinda, was exactly what was expected.

And it really isn't as outrageous as people make it out to be. Let's be real here. The blue summer maro (a male item by the by) is already very close to the waistcloth the Ananta wear (except even more revealing), we already have headscarf models that are similar (Marid Leather/Star Velvet hoods) and the chestpiece is just a piece of dangling gold - nothing we wouldn't have seen before, panegyrist/ghostbarge maiming/bloodhempen chestwrap of healing/casting say hi.

I don't really buy into that argument. I think the answer is much simpler: The mounts were already done as monster models, an outfit would have had to be made, even if it's just done by altering existing models. The Marid's flying animation just *reeks* of cut corners.

Sure. Doesn't change my point, though. But yes, gear that changes the actual shape of the character skeleton is probably out of the question, since we have so many simpler things that already are out of the question...

That, kinda, was exactly what was expected.

But that couldn't be made, since the people responsible for designing gear don't want to do those kind of glamours, and we didn't get any since the maros, which was... 2.4, or something like that ? No subligar, no maro, the only swimsuit we got was something that covered much more of men's bodies. They don't want to do that, and they probably won't. That's not a good thing, my point is just "don't expect it" =/

And yeah, the white griffin mount didn't cost them more than half an hour development time, probably, but I still think it's a benefit, for them, more than an objective.

Pretty much this. I actually like the white griffins. Would’ve been cool also if Vochstein had a chance to drop a whistle that let you summon it as a mount.

That mount is just horrible.
It doesn't make any sense.
I know "aether" explains everything in this game but gosh it's just so unnatural even for this game.
They made an elephant fly just like that. Not to mention I hate it's soulless uncanny face and look.
The griffin should have been the proper mount both Lore wise and aesthetically.

Technically we got the Vendors instead of glamour, the White Griffin was just extra when basing on the ranks unlocked at. We knew this was the case at the patch, the items were known to everyone, dunno how that managed to avoid you until now. Still, only 3 tribes have glamour, 2 of which didn't have glamour until about a year or so after they were added because the devs felt their wares were abit short. Beast tribes aren't always gonna have glamour, that should just be known. We did get Anantas though in place.

Did anyone read the elephant's lore upon getting it? It flies because if has a magic anata carpet on its back... because why not?



I'm not really that bothered by the skin/model either tbh.... Elephants are ugly asf in real life anyway, so nothing changed. xD
