I didn't bring up fairness at all in that post? (or any relation to irl anything lmao) I said it was smart and greedy- which is was, and continues to be. You do understand the two are not mutually exclusive, yes?
You seem stubbornly insistent on either ignoring or misunderstanding what I'm proposing. So, I'll repeat again: An optional amnesty for multi-plot owners to surrender their extra plots for 100% of maximum plot value, or maybe even more than 100% to compensate for furnishing.
It's an option. A potential win-win solution for all parties involved. If you, with all your business acumen, think it's a bad deal, feel free to walk away. Keep your extra plots.
As for what is ethical, clearly there's no point arguing with you, because you feel it's perfectly okay to charge whatever the market will bear. There is no clear right or wrong here, because we stand in diametrically opposite ideological positions on the issue.
Just don't pretend that your position is absolutely correct, and we can agree to disagree.
I think what TinyRedleaf is trying to say is basically be a freaking DECENT HUMAN BEING which I agree to no one needs multiple plots and especially NO ONE NEEDS A WHOLE FREAKING WARD! be a decent freaking human being have some god damn morals there are people that have been playing since housing came out in this game and still have no house cause one or two people have multiple or even a whole ward to themselves....housing came out when? patch 2.1? thats basically two expansions ago.
Even I, who definitely feels that owning an entire ward is ridic/greedy, think that all of these dramatic life-or-death comparisons are totally overboard. I mean, no matter how important it can be to our gameplay enjoyment, it's just a pixel house in a pixel game. We want it, I love mine, I want everybody to have one, but it's not going to keep somebody out of the emergency room.
IMO, it's better to say "I hope you're always one person behind That Person at the buffet who takes the entire chocolate cake because he can and leaves that one dry piece of icing that came off the corner."
No I did as an example and context to your smart and greedy portion. -.-;

You misunderstand here, why settle for 100% when you can get almost 10-15x more ? Lets see plot alone as an example was selling for 2.5 in BALMUNG when you can flip the plot as an FC rank 8 maxed out for about 25mill. ( Cheap also ) You did the work for them, maxed it out, sooo it's call an investment flip. As for market value of furnishing -.- have you seen what they go for if you buy of NPC or sell them? Not worth it.You seem stubbornly insistent on either ignoring or misunderstanding what I'm proposing. So, I'll repeat again: An optional amnesty for multi-plot owners to surrender their extra plots for 100% of maximum plot value, or maybe even more than 100% to compensate for furnishing.
Lets suppose in a perfect world SE did do 100%, what market value would they base it of? To make it more interesting I'll make it worth your wild, lets say they do lowest Market Board posted currently would it be fair for those who crafted the items by purchasing over priced materials? Would they be refunded 100% what they spent when lets say a material item was going for 10mill? or would it be fair to say what NPC would buy for? No it is not a win win situation sir. Market values fluctuate so it would not be fair.

Unfortunately multi-plot owners have been grandfathered in. New system is in place at least. So one house per account...or was it character? Either way still better than before.

Yep and people complain.
Sigh even sarcasm can't reach you. Greed and smart can only be seen as one or the other based on what side of the fence your in. Maybe if I use the terms Perception and Reality you will understand better.
Perception of Greed = intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food.
Smart = having or showing a quick-witted intelligence.
If finding ways to expand your income in game or in RL is wrong I just believe people are ignorant based on what side their on.
