Housing glamours are getting too "big".

That's pretty ridiculous. Assuming they checked the model against the various plots before releasing it, they should have known at that point that they went overboard on the size.

Most of them are more aesthetically jarring than just flat out intrusive to me, but the Shirogane castle and the Carbuncle house are both absolutely ridiculously oversized. I have a plot 46 in Shiro, up on the hill (I think it's the highest lot in the zone, elevation-wise) and the other mansion on one of the lowest levels is a Carbuncle mansion. It absolutely dominates the skyline, even from halfway across the map. It's a shame because I think the Carby house is cute, but it's just way, way oversized and that's very off-putting.

I am a bit worried about my carbuncle cottage annoying my neighbors, but on the other hand wanting a carbuncle house is the reason why I got a personal house in the first place. I think it is adorable, but with the size and colors I can see how others would find it obnoxious. That said I'm glad we don't have an Eorzean Home Owners Association, dealing with them in RL is annoying enough. Most of the Shirogane ward that my FC's estate is in has castle skins up (including ours) so whenever I climb up our roof there the entire ward item culls like mad. I love the detail on the housing glamour skins, but it would be nice if they would make some more choices that are not huge.

Honestly, the only housing glamours I dislike are the paissa/chocobo/moogle ones. The rest are extremely large, but at least they are pretty.

Yeah... I have this plot and my castle is clipping exactly like this. It's annoying slightly. I'd be super annoyed if I had spent 20 million on this glamour instead of getting the free upgrade going from a small to medium though. I'm very tempted to switch to a moogle house or carbuncle house instead, but it would completely throw off my yard.
