No. I tried to run, but the mob did not want to 'latch off' by the time I reached a spot I could run no further...cause you know, terrain and stuff. I can't just take a mount and fly away in battle.
And I'm not talking victims or anything. I am (though yes, at the time I did write the original post I was quite irked) posting this as a suggestion for a very useful quality of life update that would affect almost every person in the game, unlike the quality of life updates that they give which mostly affect small groups of people.





I also get annoyed when you’re doing sidequests or beast tribes and your queue pops...but at the same time, you have 40 seconds to disengage, switch, and accept. Same...but as I said, it did enter #5 at the time. I expected to be able to finish one battle on time, and if not for trying to run, I would. I had the queue pop at 8 and once even at some number over 10. 12 or 14 or something like that. As a DPS, solo. That was when the queue popped in about a minute, shortly after the queue numbers were even retrieved, for leveling roulette (and was "under 5min"), so I guess it was just that super-rare perfect timing. But hey, it happens.
Hence why this post. I know that I did make use of it to vent on the side as well, since the queue popped exactly when I entered the combat and class switching became unlocked literally when the queue closed, but that doesn't mean it's all about that.
