Restrictions Being Lifted on 20th Feb

Not sure if they do this for housing, what are the odds we can download the patch BEFORE maintenance ends? I download 4.21 an hour early. Anybody else think it'll be the same way? Not sure if every patch is like that where you can download it before maintenance ends and the server goes back up. I never have logged in at the patch time when maintenance ends. Anybody think its a safe bet we can download it somewhat early to get it out of the way to optimize how quickly we get in to get a house?

I usually log in several hours after maintenance ends.

Well in that case, would doing the World status refresh automatically download one if I click it every few minutes, or do I need to close out the launcher entirely? I mean once I've got my login information in and it says it's unavailable to launch the game. That's when it normally patches. Would staying in that prompt an automatic download if I refresh it, or do I need to close it out then re enter my login information?

Its fine, your launcher only patches I think on startup when it checks if there is a launcher update. If there is only an activation patch lets call it that, then when you click the world status and you click the start button thingy it will download a patch.Personally, I don't foresee us getting a patch unless there were bug fixes in there too. the last bug fix last week did not require a launcher upgrade at all.

I have been looking at a cute small next to a friend in Shiro that I would like to purchase, but there are very few plots in Shiro, while MANY in Goblet. Plus, I have a feeling Kugane will be a war zone for what remaining plots are there and since so few, it would be time consuming running btwn plots to try and find one still available. So, I'm thinking of buying a plot in Goblet so I don't get locked out of the housing market entirely. There are many small plots, and all relatively close, so it would be much easier to run around and grab what hasn't been picked up and if the plot in Shiro is still open, then I will transfer to that plot.

I've been praying to and planning on sacrificing a few lala's to RNGesus in hopes that I have a smooth log in and will be able to get a small home to call my own. I hope it will happen later. On to lala hunting !

I don't think there be a patch. Did we even get that the week after 4.2? I mean a download patch? I think only when we got 4.21 last week

Well, here's to hoping that Coeurl doesn't fill up too fast. Hoping I can get one of the 16 available small plots in my FCs ward. That, or I may take my chances in the Goblet just to be safe. Any opinions? I plan on getting in within the first 15-20 minutes. Any advice on which options? The Shirogane one my FC is in, which has 16 open plots, or an emptier Goblet ward? I just have no idea what the rush on Coeurl is going to like. Anybody experienced it before? The housing rush on Coeurl I mean. lol I am hoping the wards don't fill up. A friend of mine said all the Shirogane wards took 2 hours to fill up when they first came out. Anybody think it's a safe idea to log out in my Fc ward and if none are available, then I can go to the Goblet? Or shoul I just logout in the Goblet to be safe? Remember, I don't want a specific plot in any ward. Just A small plot is all. Doesn't matter where in the wards.

Anybody able to confirm if that's Norma, for Coeurl and I should be fine? Lol I am so hopeless XD

Make yourself familiar with your ward, park yourself in front of your first choice and know how to get to other choices. Make yourself familiar with the goblet too and write down the nearest aetheryte locations to open plots. The subdivisions aren't as popular usually and since you can't go directly to them via ward listings (must use the mini aetherytes in the ward) a lot of people get confused which buys other people a bit of time. Make sure you know how to navigate all of that. Good luck!

Do you guys think that we will get kicked out of the ward when the patch comes in? I parked myself outside my ideal plot but am just afraid things might no go as smooth.

I'm mainly worried whether I should take my chances in the Shirogane Ward that my FC is in, which has 16 openings, or see if there is an emptier Ward in the Goblet. I have no idea what the housing rush is like on Coeurl. :/ that's what I'm having trouble deciding on.
