So, quick question... If you logged out near the house you want, do you log back in right where you left? Or does SE kick you out because reasons?

Cool, thanks. Wasn't sure of SE kicked everyone back to the ferry or something out of some sick schadenfreude of watching players trample each other as they scramble for the house they want.

Not sure if they do this for housing, what are the odds we can download the patch BEFORE maintenance ends? I download 4.21 an hour early. Anybody else think it'll be the same way? Not sure if every patch is like that where you can download it before maintenance ends and the server goes back up. I never have logged in at the patch time when maintenance ends. Anybody think its a safe bet we can download it somewhat early to get it out of the way to optimize how quickly we get in to get a house?

There might not be a patch. maybe a small launcher update for version number checking. But if there is a patch it will be a small one.

Well in that case, would doing the World status refresh automatically download one if I click it every few minutes, or do I need to close out the launcher entirely? I mean once I've got my login information in and it says it's unavailable to launch the game. That's when it normally patches. Would staying in that prompt an automatic download if I refresh it, or do I need to close it out then re enter my login information?

Its fine, your launcher only patches I think on startup when it checks if there is a launcher update. If there is only an activation patch lets call it that, then when you click the world status and you click the start button thingy it will download a patch.Personally, I don't foresee us getting a patch unless there were bug fixes in there too. the last bug fix last week did not require a launcher upgrade at all.
