Lancer crossclass skills nowadays

ill look into the guide when the patch hits

and i dont think i will be too advanced when the patch hits.

what concerns me more is the new gear which hits with patch 1.21. im worried that i push up armorer and they say "hey lancer is now a leather only job!" :/

I wouldn't worry too much, traditionally Dragoon wears heavy equipment. I think it'll be along the lines of WoW (let the flaming commence) where you have two "kinds" of heavy armor, plate with defensive stats and mail with offensive stats. Usually there's always a piece or two of leather gear that ends up being BiS, but I still believe Dragoon will be very much heavy armor-reliant. This is just assumption based off current classes available, but I think it'll be like this. (mages, cloth. pgl/arc, leather. gld/mrd plate. lnc/mrd mail, since mrd is like the confused child in school who isn't sure which way he leans.)

except LNC can not ware plate anymore since 1.19 so I think we will still be going down the road of chain/scale/leather
