Is it too late to transfer off of Aether?
I fail to see how a server with 40,000+ players..needs to be opened, or have trouble with RP community size -.-. My poor server, Lamia, is like 20k-25k less than Balmung. Come on man..
It's never too late to transfer out of any server/datacenter o_o.
Per recent census figures, https://ffxivcensus.com/, Balmung has about 14.3k active players, Lamia has about 8.4k.
I understand server locks have to happen sometime, this is not the first time I've been on a locked server in a game, but it does suck for those who want to invite friends/family to play the game with them. I'm glad that some people were able to take advantage of the free transfers, but it's not ideal for a lot of people to drop everything they have on a server and start fresh.
What really irritates me is the OP's insistance the Balmung is the only place for RP. lol, you cocky tool, I can roll up to the quicksilver or any number of wards in Mateus at any time of any day and get a session going. Balmung doesn't get that special distinction anymore. It just gets to be overcrowded.
To be fair, didn't most of the Mateus RP community come in from Balmung? What really irritates me is the OP's insistance the Balmung is the only place for RP. lol, you cocky tool, I can roll up to the quicksilver or any number of wards in Mateus at any time of any day and get a session going. On the plus side, at least people don't instinctively roll their eyes when someone says the name of your server.
