I couldn't agree more with OP! The only reason I am still playing is I hate throwing away the money I paid for the game. Having to constantly group up in dungeons just to play the Main Story is NOT why I play MMOs, have always hated MP groups like this and tolerate them if voluntary.

MP groups are GREAT if you like that sort of stuff or have enough known players you can group with, but time and time again it's just stress filled sessions having to deal with inconsiderate people, who care less about coordination or having fun and instead revel in being jerks. Being forced to group just to play the game story is nuts. It's maddening since Square assumes they can just do this. Why even do this in the first place, why not do what other MMOs do and let MP be voluntary?

Will be uninstalling soon, hate that Square has ruined what is an otherwise awesome MMO by forcing MP dungeons on players just to get through the story. I wish I knew this before dropping $$$ on it.
