Elemental wheel? Just because it's a 3/3 and not a 6 wheel, what's the big deal in that lol.

Lack of debuffs, that's a 50/50, since people have already shown that while we won't have spells that purely debuff there are abilities that have a chance to debuff.

I can't really place an opinion on the last one though, rare/ex vs crafted, since I haven't really bothered gearing myself up to the max I mainly focus on leveling up crafts and gathering. Though one could say this as it stands now what they seem to be aiming for is this.

Crafted<Rare/ex,
Crafted+1 materia=rare/ex
Crafter+ 2+ materia>rare/ex

Or perhaps one is better then the other but in the end, if you have rare/ex be to powerful then it would ruining crafting and if crafting is to powerful it would ruin the want for said items. It's a tough balance to create but just give it time lol.

To be honest people are screaming IMBALANCE and it hasn't even been proven yet, you are basing it on information that isn't even finalized yet. Why not just wait til it's actualy released before you claim that the elemental wheels are broken or that without actual debuff spells old mobs have become tougher cause all you're doing now is pure speculation without actually seeing it in action for yourself.

Some is speculation yes.

It's 3/3 but Astral and Umbral are not the same 3/3 (complicates the wheel). Removal of an offensive water spell will break the wheel.
